We get things wrong sometimes, and a restaurant's hours can change the week after we visit. Here is exactly what happens when that occurs.

Factual errors

Corrected within one business day, with a dated note at the foot of the page.

Stale details

Hours, prices, and closures are re-verified against a primary source, then the update date changes.

Substantive rewrites

If our recommendation itself changes, we say so explicitly rather than silently editing.

Typos

Fixed without a note.

Removal requests

We do not unpublish accurate reporting, but we will correct anything demonstrably wrong.
