Engine House No. 9

Engine House No. 9 occupies a firehouse built in 1907 to provide fire protection for Tacoma's North End, a block off Sixth Avenue, and the building is the reason to go: the bar stands where the stable gate once was, and the operator's own history pages document the station's run to 1965, its abandonment, and the fires that followed before restoration.
